Why do you want to join the Cult?:
I've mainly rp'd as a sin'dorei but I would like to try out rp as forsaken. I am new to rp'ing a forsaken but I've a keen interest in learning how the religion works.

How did you come to learn about the Cult:
I used to play Defias at the start of the year but with one thing and another, I returned to my old server. I felt I never really settled into the sin'dorei rp scene here and I made a -very- bad move to a pvp guild. I'm tiring of the sin'dorei side of rp and feel (rightly or wrongly) that the forsaken rp'ers tend to have more depth to their characters - less swooning drama. Happy to explain more about my background through an in game chat rather than a public forum.

Anything else you'd like us to know?
My main is elsewhere and is also a rogue so my time on Defias isn't likely to be full time - thought fair to mention this. I love playing the rogue class but that does not mean that I'm actually proficient, although I'm very enthusiastic. I'm mainly a PvPer and rarely run instances but happy to try anything. I've rp'd about 3 years now, played for 4. As stated, I'm new to forsaken rp so please take that into account with my IC app and I am very open to constructive criticim - I do want to improve.

IC application:

Astus remembers little of his former life as one of the living and tries to forget of his time as one of the mindless scourge. He knows that he was a paladin when alive, a wielder of the holy light and his bitterness of how the light failed to save him leaves a knot of hatred deep inside him. He's spent his years since slowly improving his skills with a blade, having slipped from a righteous wielder of the holy light to an honourless wielder of wicked, poisonned, blades. Astus feels he has been alone too long and that his self-imposed exile should come to an end; he seeks to find like-minded individuals with the Cult of Forgotten Shadow, to again have a purpose beyond self-absorbed revenge.

I personally must say you've made an excellent choice, role-playing a dead being often gets time to get used to, but when you master dulling your characters emotions and bringing out a more vile side, it's a very alluring.

I hope to meet you in-game.

I think that you can whisper Dailor, Drathun or myself for a chat and if more officers put the letters 'p-a-s-s' into the same sentence then you will of course be invited in after a brief in-character application.
