| OOCName: Sinel Harrowood Class: Warlock Why do I wish to join:I'm incredibly interested in this guild and I see it as one of the best Undead guilds on a EU server. I have Roleplayed with the Cult before and found it very fun and mature. To become apart of the guild for a second time would be amazing. I would really like to get my new character involved and become a social, friendly member of the guild. PS. Forsaken RP has always been close to me as I find the lore exciting and interesting to RP with. How I became aware of the guild:I was a very early member along time ago and I have also Roleplayed with the guild in Kamlidor while apart of a large Kamlidor race guild Anything else?:OOC, when typing my characters name, the "i", hold together CTRL and ALT and whilst holding them together, press "i" ICBackstorySinel Harrowood, once a Human Mage of Arcane living with her family in the Western Plaguelands, enjoyed her life to the fullest. Surrounded by loved ones and days of bliss, Sinel's days were numbered, yet she did not realise the suffering to come. Her small home was brutally invaded by bandits and thieves who ripped the families house apart. After struggling the fend the armed men off, Sinel, her husband Viradori and two children, Issy and David, we're taken. Limbs tied, the family were thrown into the back of the gangs caravan and taken to there nearby camp. After being remove from the caravan, Sinel was forced to watch, one by one, the hellish slaughter of her beloved husband and children. At a sudden moment, the laughter and banter of the men stopped, and for a second, silence. When that second had finished, screams of terror and anguish flooded the air. Sinel, eyes clamped shut, could hear the ripping of the flesh and the splat of blood hitting the floor. Again, silence. Sinel opened her teary eyes to see a sight that no living being deserves to see. Above and around her, vile abomonations, demon and undead covered in crimson. One demons grabbed Sinel by the jaw, ripping it clean from her face. Another forced its cold fingers into her eye sockets. Sinel had met death. Strangely, only she was risen that day and taken to the frozen wastes of Northrend to serve the dark Lich King. After Illidan forces invaded Northrend and the Lich King's powers began to weaken, Sinel was taken under Sylvanas's wing and given hope. On return to Lorderon, Sinel devoted her remaining days as Forsaken to her fellow Undead and Banshee queen. To this day, Sinel, crazed and dangerous, holds the power of darkness and death, using her dark magic against the living of Azeroth and slaying any force that stands in the way of the Forsaken. |

| Allow me to clarify a small lore misunderstanding.
The undead that marched on Lordaeron had no demonic allies within their ranks.
And..
The troops that remained with Sylvanas never left to Northrend. So your character shouldn't have either.
Other than that tis fine! |

Other than that tis fine! Let me second that with a side note, if you mean the scourge invading Lordaeron, yes and no. There where dreadlords running things behind the curtain. They allmost never show themselves but mayby this one was "hungry" or whatever. Also demon is just a term, you could call the Scourge demonic by their acts alone. I could understand why someone (who has never even seen a demon only heard from them) could mistake a abomination or even a ghoul for something foul and demonic. You are correct on the second point though. (although rumours have been arisen about Sylvanas traveling between undercity and northrend but that is pre-WotLK) | |

| Hey guys. Sorry I just wanted tk take few things about what you replied and clear them up alittle So here I go I'm so sorry about this, I did mean Demon in the more dramatic way of describing somethings. I understand how you saw Demon as in the physical WoW mob but it kind slipped my mind. The Northrend thing, slight lore confusion but yea I did mean Sinel aided with the fight against the three dreadlords in Northrend when they attempted to take control over the remaining undead. After this she travelled with the few remaining undead and Windrunner to the Undercity where they set up camp. I guess that I just didn't really think about this paragraph as a test of lore and more of the instruction of being 'creative'. I understand everything you say tho and I hope you can let me know what you think for the guild xx |

| It's a bit of a conundrum. On the other hand the application's meant to test your knowledge of lore and on the other it's a way to show your creative provess. I think the usual guideline is that, if one is unsure of the lore - stick to it. But if you're confident and done your homework, there's no shame in taking some creative freedoms. However, when you apply we have no certain way of knowing, whether you're an expert or a greenhorn. Which is why our guildies tend to comb the applications over for mistakes over lore - we have a level of quality to uphold, so even if the applicants don't know everything, we expect they're wise enough to accept and correct their possible mistakes. And I'm going to say what the other two left unsaid: You've got a good application, it passes in my eyes! Contact an officer in game for your interview. | |
