*Why do you want to join the Cult?: It's reputation of solid Rp is well renown on the server, and I love the Forsaken's background more then any other.

*How did you come to learn about the Cult: Through the forums

*Anything else you'd like us to know?
Work comes always before play, as such there could well be spaces of time where I won't be as active, then again quite the opposite is possible as well during stretches of time.

IC application: (pardan any bad grammar / spelling, couldn't find someone to test read it sadly)

Once a woodsman in the employ of several households, Speirs was a renown man for always managing to find prey, no matter how barren a winter or how hot a summer, he'd always return with fresh meat.
This ofcourse led to envy of other woodsman, and even a steady demand from youngsters to teach them the trade.
Speirs always warned his young charges of the dangers of the woods, and if they still persisted in joining him he would not object.
Often youngsters failed to return from a hunt, unknown to the people Speirs worked for, yet time and time again he managed to come back with fresh meat and that big grin on his face, always that grin.
After having returned from a hunt he was greeted by a peasants wife with her small children clinging to her legs behind her skirt, who complimented him on the fine and succulent meat he had brought them last week and gave him a fresh loaf of bread in thanks, as ever Speirs unsettling big grin spread on his face as he accepted the token of gratitude and thought how good and healthy those children looked.
After giving the woman a half hearted wave he continued on his path while farmers crossing his path quickly looked away from that grin, that most unsettling grin.

Just after midnight the bells on the small church, if the small hovel could be called that, sounded their alarm, all vilagers staggered out of bed and ran to the church.
What was going on? Was it fire? Any fire with these straw roof houses could mean disaster! So as these frightening thoughts thumbled through their heads most were panting from running by the time they arrived at the church.
What they found their was a peasant clinging to the rope while pulling it, blood streaked the rope as his hands had cut themselfs on the rope from holding it so hard, and so long and tears spilling from bloodshot eyes that streaked his cheeks.
His wife was at his feet her nails digging into the flesh on her face and all she screamed was; ''My children, they're gone! Oh my poor helpless children!''.
Immediately the farmers broke up in search parties, lanterns were lit and people yelled out to each other on what to do and where to go.
In the woods half an hour later two search parties found each other and banded together, they could see a faint glow in the distance between trees and headed that direction.
As they got closer there was suddenly a loud snap, and a farmed let out an earpiercing scream, by the light of the lanters they could see he had stepped into a beartrap which had nearly severed his leg righ below the kneecap.

They quickly opened their lanterns to let light bath the area and see the reflection of dozens of beartraps all around them.
making their way around these traps they finally came upon the small fire they had seen minutes before and most gasped as one of them immediatly bend double and threw up.
The sight they saw was a naked Speirs near a black altar, with the two children, who could hardly be recognised as such at his feet, skinned and gutted, as pieces of meat ready to be cooked.
The altar was decorated by a multiple of humanoid skeletons or in some cases, pieces of them.
So engorged in his dark ritual Speirs did not even notice the peasants and farmers as they closed in on him.
With his back towards them the men raised their assorted weapons, spades, blacksmith hammers, pitchforks, farmer tools, but enough to get the job done.
Speirs body shook from the impacts of half a dozen assorted tools at the same time, pitchforks stabbed through his chest while the blund weapons knocked him in all the righ..wrong places.
As his body toppled backwars, and a pole of a pitchform made the body stay half up the farmers could see the one thing that would wake them up in the dark of night in screams. The ominous big grin, still on Speirs face.

The site was proclaimed unholy by the farmers who quicklly threw any leftover lampoil where they could, and smashed 3 lanters against those same places causing a cleansing fire to start as the farmers quickly left for the safety of their homes, none of them daring to stay longer then necesary there on that gruesome scene.
Perhaps they should have, for the bloodsoaked ground where Speirs body lay in made for a bad fuel for the fire and his body survived the fire pretty much unmarked, apart from the few gaping holes and misformed bones the attack had caused that is.

Present day, a Val'kyr felt the slightest tingle of worry when she looked at the newest member of the forsaken she had just raised, it probably was the big grin that did it.
